KJH Cares team member Christine Fulsang and her family organized the 3rd Annual Weston Downs Food Drive to support the Vaughan Food Bank.

KJH Cares was proud to sponsor the red donation bags that the Fulsang Family and a group of high school students delivered to over 2,000 Weston Downs homes in October. Nearly 50 volunteers, including 30 students, then rallied together and went door-to-door collecting the food donations.

The Fulsang Family wasn’t sure what to expect this year in a COVID-19 environment, but the residents of Weston Downs came through for the food drive. The large truck in the picture made four trips with the bins fully loaded and collected over $3,800 in monetary donations. The Vaughan Food Bank was impressed with the results and extremely grateful for the generosity of the Weston Downs community.
