Members of the KJH Cares team played an active, hands-on role in giving back to the environment by participating in a tree planting event hosted by Tree Canada in Markham this spring. The team enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun and collectively managed to plant 50 trees.

KJH Cares has been a proud supporter of Tree Canada for many years and their mission to plant and preserve trees in rural and urban environments across the country. They are driven to grow Canada’s tree canopy through programs, research, and engagement efforts and by offering grants to schools and communities. To date, Tree Canada has planted 84 million trees, greened more than 700 communities and schoolyards, and planted more than 10,000 edible fruits and nut trees and shrubs in communities all across Canada to help fight urban food insecurity.
